Leaders at Duke University, University of South Carolina,and University of Maryland, all client institutions, told the Wall Street Journal that “deep cultural immersion” is increasingly important for business schools seeking to train students to lead truly global businesses. The article, “Executive M.B.A. Programs Bulk up Oversees,” also quoted Tim Westerbeck, one of Lipman Hearne’s owners and an expert in marketing professional schools.
